This lobelia really is a study in scarlet, its large, velvety blooms are positively glowing and will be sure to draw a gasp from onlookers! An RHS AGM winner, it is renowned for its long flowering period, producing upright spikes of flaming butterflies for 3 months from summer to autumn. Use it as a dot plant in bedding schemes, or as a striking accent in a hot-themed border combined with purple foliage.The flower spikes are long-stemmed and long-lasting as a cut flower, making it an ideal vase specimen.
