Jumbo Crocus (C. vernus) - Larger than the botanical crocuses, "Jumbos" make a splash of early spring colour. Plant in your lawn, between shrubs, in borders, or in patio containers. They bloom a few weeks after the botanical crocuses - mixing both will create a long-flowering carpet of colour! Flowers February-March. Height 10cm. Orange Monarch - Large-flowered Dutch type, producing big, orange blooms feathered with a purple flame. Bulb size 5+cm. (Bulb sizes quoted in centimetres refer to the circumference of bulbs.
