This is the most commonly grown Habanero and one of the easiest to grow. The fruits are up to 2.5cm x 4cm and are produced on a shrubby bush up to 70cm tall x 70cm wide. Very hot 350K SHU. Sow in a propagator on a windowsill or in a greenhouse at approximately 18-21°C (65-70°F) using a good quality moist compost. Cover the seeds with 6mm (¼) sieved compost. Germination 10-21 days. Transplant the seedlings singly into 7.5cm (3) pots. Finally transplant into larger pots, grow bags or greenhouse border allowing 50cm (20) between plants. Feed regularly with a proprietary fertiliser. Support plants with canes as fruits develop. Sowing - Cropping: 22-24 weeks
