Sansevieria cyl. Straight (African Spear Plant) A simple and modern succulent houseplant! A simplistically contemporary succulent with leathery and tubed-shaped foliage. The upright leaves are very smooth making their aesthetics very contemporary. Being succulent, it is very resilient making it easy to care for and very low maintenance. Sansevieria are known for their air-purifying abilities, they are able to absorb toxins in the air around it through its foliage and produce pure oxygen. This clever plant therefore would be perfect for in a bedroom, office or living area.Keep in a room with a temperature between 15c (60F) to 24C (75F). Preferably keep in a well-lit position where it will get both shade and sun throughout the day. It can survive with draughts to would be lovely for an entrance hall. As it is succulent it holds water in its foliage, be sure not to overwater as this will cause the plant to rot. Let the soil dry out in between each watering. Feed between March and September.
