Asclepias incarnata Soulmate has masses of deep-pink flowers with dainty white centres and a slight vanilla fragrance. This hardy perennial makes a fine addition to cottage garden borders and wildlife areas. Bees and butterflies love the profusion of nectar from the blooms making this a superb choice for a wildlife area. As the flowers fade, they are replaced by seedpods which split to show the seed, they can be used as fresh or dried cut flowers.
