They can even be used as house or conservatory plants. These tender, tropical perennials are generally grown as annuals.  They are quick growing and their velvety foliage in reds, purples, greens and yellows with intricate patterning and serrated margins provide colour and texture throughout the season. They are incredibly versatile, low maintenance and can even thrive in shade.
