Phormium ?Bronze Baby? is a striking plant with sword-shaped leaves which arch, displaying its beautiful bronze colours making a real architectural statement. This is a compact variety which offers a dramatic statement with its purple-bronze foliage and in hot summers, some tubular red flowers will pop up from the centre which are then followed by robust seed-heads. They are wonderful when planted up in patio containers, or in borders, and looks particularly lovely when offset with gravel. It will appreciate full sun and at times some shade, and in the winter will need protecting for cold, harsh winds. Height and spread 60cm (24?).
