Streptocarpus ‘Blue Frills’ is an unusual double variety with the purple and white blooms featuring a generous ruffle in the centre. The veins in the white lower petals are attractively picked out in purple to add further detail. Streptocarpus make great houseplants, with clusters of exotic-looking blooms produced for at least nine months of the year in an endless array of vibrant shades and colour combinations, rising above thick, wrinkled, furry green leaves.
