Instead, the college is left as an inheritance to the first female in the family to graduate within 200 years. In 1938, another Gracie Alden is now the last girl in the line before the deadline, and is having trouble graduating and with her studies. She hires fast-talking Bud Brady (Bob Hope) to assist her.
