Jimmy Sharma (Saeed Jaffrey - My Beautiful Launderette) makes good living running upscale Brick Lane Indian restaurant The Jewel in the Crown. That is until one of his former waiters opens a rival establishment The Far Pavilions right across the street. The new restaurant might not be as fancy, with flock wallpaper, and even chips on the menu, but Jimmy\'s profits soon start to fall.
