American horror, now a classic of the genre, starring James Brolin, Rod Steiger and Margot Kidder. James Brolin and Margot Kidder are the unsuspecting young couple with kids who move into a beautiful colonial house on Long Island, whose previous occupants had been murdered in their sleep. After they move in they encounter bad smells, and are plagued by slamming doors, and the occasional very violent bump in the night. The Lutzes are menaced by the lingering evil in this frightening ghost story. Rod Steiger co-stars.
