This American thriller is based on the true story of inexperienced Canadian journalist Jay Bahadur played by Evan Peters  (American Horror Story, X-Men: Apocalypse) who worms his way into a gang of Somali pirates. With a desire to investigate what motivates Somalia pirates and the lives they live, Jay follows advice from one of his idols, Symour Tlbin (Al Pacino) and naively sets off to Somalia in hope of launching his career as a journalist on a trip he didn\'t well prepare for. He soon realises the dangers of his new career quickly landing himself in dangerous and volatile situations as he attempts to get an insight into their violence and crime in inside meetings ultimately gaining the up-close and personal perspective he had hoped.
