Ida Willis, played by TV legend Mollie Sugden, intimidating and brazen housekeeper who provokes fear amongst all that meet her, finds secrets from her past creeping up on her when the employment agency she works for places her in her latest job. Ida finds herself working for wealthy couple, the Price\'s. Robert Price, an attractive  but entitled doctor and his beautiful wife, Angie who is a model, live together in their lovely London flat...Unknown to  Ida at first, but what soon becomes a revelation, unexpected to all, is that Robert is Shane - the baby she gave up for adoption many years ago.Once the initial shock has sunk in, Ida, who is up until this point at least is the least maternal women, suddenly is overcome with maternal urges, giving Robert\'s adoptive mother some very unwelcome competition.
