Once upon a time there was a beautiful young girl living in the far-away land of 1950s England. Living with her loving father (David Warner) and talking to animals. But her life is turned up-side-down when her Father brings home evil step-mother Claudette (Kathleen Turner) from a business trip with two wicked step-sisters in tow. With Claudette planning to murder her father, Cinderella has her work cut out for her stopping her father\'s demise. Luckily, Cindy also has a thing for water, and chances upon a magical mermaid   behind a waterfall. Mab (Jane Birkin) takes a liking to Cinderella, and when the opportunity arises for Cindy to go to a royal ball she whips up a stunning frock in true fairy Godmother style, and sends her on her way. Unfortunately, Prince Valiant at the ball is no Price Charming! He\'d rather be playing his guitar and riding motorcycles. But after Cindy ignoring him most the evening he grabs her attention as he leaps on stage to perform wildly with his rock band. The two become infatuated with each other and are inseparable - until midnight strikes!
