Scottish writer, broadcaster, musician goes on a journey to discover 150 malt whiskies, each being a creation of its own particular place, its history and its people.  Tom’s journey sees him go to places such as Orkney, the Speyside region, Tain, Skye, Fort William, Islay and Campbeltown. The method that is used to create single malt whisky is particulary treasured by whisky lovers as it is made from a single form of malted grain which is then distilled at a single distillery.
