Daniel Miller is a newly appointed case officer who has arrived at the CIA foreign station in Berlin on a clandestine mission to uncover the source of a leak. He finds himself working alongside a close colleague from a previous posting, Hector DeJean – a cynical CIA case officer with secrets of his own. Daniel soon realises he has much to learn about the rough-and-tumble world of the field agent with all of its deception, dangers, double-crossings and moral compromises.
