Series 6 opens in 1969, with Morse (Shaun Evans) assigned to a quiet rural area, and he finds himself back in uniform. However, when the body of a missing schoolgirl is found, Endeavour is reunited with his former CID colleagues. He quickly finds a likely suspect, and is offered the chance to regain his lost status by making an arrest.
