John Wayne stars in this American propaganda movie, made soon after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. Wayne stars as the squadron leader of the ‘Flying Tigers’, the American fighter pilots battling Japanese invaders in pre-war China. He commands the squad against Japan\'s fleet of bombers, but resentment grows amongst his team when one pilot\'s glory-seeking efforts place the mission at risk.   The film, made shortly after Pearl Harbor, is a propaganda production, and consequently features many Japanese warplanes being blown out of the sky.
