Dakota Johnson, Tracee Ellis Ross and Ice Cube star in this drama, from the filmmakers of Yesterday and Bridget Jones. As popular singer Grace Davis fame reaches an all-time high, she begins to worry about whether she will be capable of developing her sound and innovating her style. Her assistant Maggie, although initially inspired by Grace, is becoming increasingly frustrated with being at her beck and call. She has her own aspirations of becoming a music producer. Encouraging Grace to take the leap and try something different despite the objections from her manager, Jack, Maggie begins to work with Grace to help both women realise their ambitions.
