Seth Rogen leads the cast in this comedy drama.   In 1920, Eastern Europeans Herschel and Sarah Greenbaum emigrate to America in search of a better life. Herschel finds a job in a pickle factory, where an accident causes him to fall into a vat of brine only to emerge 100 years later, perfectly preserved. Although he becomes a media sensation, Herschel struggles to adjust to a modern world he does not recognise. However, he is soon introduced to his only living descendant, computer programmer Ben (also played by Rogen), and the two distant relatives attempt to teach each other about life.
