1960s British horror. After disfiguring a patient, crazed plastic surgeon Dr Rossiter takes refuge with a circus in France. Starring Anton Diffring, Erika Remberg and Donald Pleasence. In 1947, an English plastic surgeon takes refuge with a circus after an operation goes hideously wrong. He begins to transform scarred women into the beautiful stars of the show, but when those who attempt to leave meet with gruesome ‘accidents’ it attracts the attention of the police.
