Luke Evans stars in ITV’s latest true crime drama, based on the pursuit of a cold-blooded serial killer who struck in the 1980s. Evans plays Steve Wilkins, who led the investigation. Two unsolved double murders cast a shadow over the Dyfed Powys police force. In 2006, newly promoted Wilkins decided to reopen both cases. Employing pioneering forensic methods, he and his handpicked team find microscopic DNA that appears to link the murders to a string of burlaries committed in the 80s and 90s.
