A small town falls prey to mother nature as big business rolls in and disturbs a killer pathogen that\'s laid dormant beneath the ground for centuries. In rural America, two neighbouring farmers clash when one agrees to let an oil and gas company conduct exploratory drilling on their land. However, their troubles increase when the drilling releases a deadly pathogen which threatens to wipe out their livelihoods and their entire community. As the drilling starts the health of the community starts to fail and the land begins to rot.
