Social comedy from the team behind Brassed Off and Little Voice, starring Chris Beattie and Greg McLane. Two obsessive football fans Sewell and Gerry dream of getting season tickets for Newcastle United, but with the former unemployed and the latter playing truant from school they are unlikely to be able to each stump up the £1000 required. The friends try forswearing drink and drugs in an attempt to save the cash, only to have their funds stolen by Gerry\'s violent father. The pair\'s attempts to raise the money then become increasingly desperate, but a solution is on hand from the most unexpected of sources.
