Channel Five documentary series set on the Owen family\'s remote farm in the Yorkshire Dales. Hill shepherds Amanda and Clive Owen live on one of the most remote farms in Britain with their nine children. Cameras follow them as they look after, maintain and protect their 1,000-strong flock of sheep. The 11-strong Owen family are a cheerful bunch. Clive and Amanda’s kids lead a simple, frugal life and are totally involved in farm work: responsible 14-year-old Reuben is a mechanical whizz, six-year-old Sid expertly uses a hay-baling knife and lights a camp fire, while even the little ones help with lambing, feeding and herding.
