The new follow-on series to Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi’s much-loved mockumentary What We Do in the Shadows. The series follows hilariously hapless officers Mark Minogue and Karen O’Leary as they are assigned to the new Paranormal Unit of Wellington’s police force, tasked with tackling the increasing number of local crimes and misdemeanors of a supernatural nature.  Over four hilarious series, the team and their senior officer, Sergeant Maaka, encounter some familiar faces. Celebrated Clement and Waititi characters ‘Bloodthirsty Nick’ the vampire and Rhys Darby’s hilarious ‘Swearwolf’ return, joined by a host of new paranormal foes including a haunted Nissan Turbo, a man-eating sea monster in Wellington’s harbour, a rowdy team of ghost rugby fans and a haunted 80s jacket that makes the wearer ‘cool’.
