If you love an action movie and want to try your hand at stealth-based combat and careful sharp-shooting, then this is the experience for you. You’ll take part in a fascinating and exciting series of spy activities over approximately 3 hours - perfect for anyone who wants a taste of life undercover. Try out imitation spy weapons such as sniper rifles, pistols and crossbows, then try your hand at unarmed combat taught by ex-military instructors. You’ll learn how to evade capture with strategic grips and releases, as well as locks, blocks and take downs for when things get serious. Then, when you’re all out of ammunition, you’ll have a go at axe throwing. Informative and fun, this experience will be memorable and useful if MI5 ever come knocking! What\'s Included? On arrival at the centre you will be greeted by the instructors who will take you through the variety of activities. Training will include pistol draw techniques, crossbow shooting and learn how to be effective in unarmed combat. You’ll test your expertise at axe throwing and the precision of your shooting through a telescopic sight of a sniper air rifle. Participant guidelines Minimum age: 16 (Parental/guardian consent is required for under-18s) Maximum age: 70 Participants should be fit, as there is some running around wooded areas, be free of injury, especially back and neck There are no height or weight restrictions for this activity You will be asked to sign a medical declaration on the day to declare any medical conditions and/or medication being taken Spectators are welcome and there is no charge, however please be advised that facilities and views may be limited. There is no age restriction for spectators but children under the age of 16 must be supervised by an adult at all times. Disabled access is limited for spectators; please discuss this at the time of booking if you require assistance The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary Availability Vouchers are valid for 9 months from the date of issue. Courses run approximately twice a month on selected weekend dates between March and November. Kindly note that weekend dates during the summer months are extremely popular and we unfortunately cannot guarantee availability. We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability. You should allow approximately 3 hours for the whole experience. What should I wear? Please wear comfortable casual clothing and flat footwear suitable for running around in. Trainers are recommended for wet muddy conditions (no heels). A waterproof jacket is also recommended. Safety glasses will be supplied by the centre. What about the weather? It is unlikely that bad weather will cancel this activity, however if it does a further date will be offered to you. Additional information Refreshments are available to purchase on the day. What about insurance? The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence. A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
