Fraying along the hingelines and spine tips. Edges and corners good but the rear board is knocked and soft to fore edge base (2cms.) All edges red. Top edge has faded to dark red. Gilt titles to front and spine. Remains of old stickers to front paste down. This copy was owned by M.L. Turner, who served in the Special Boat Service on HMS Lancaster during the Great War.
