Highly collectable, rare figurine of a fairy-tale couple Prince Ivan (Tsarevich Yvan) and the Princess frog (Tsarevna Lyagooshka) based on a Russian classic literature by Alexander Pushkin. Production of the famous Leningrad Porcelain Factory (Leningradskiy Zaavod Farforovikh Izdeliy), 1950-60\'s, USSR. It measures approx. 6 inches / 15.25 cm. In excellent condition, considering the age; no cracks, repairs or chips. The gilding is lightly faded in places. Original factory marking on the base.
