Large format book on the subject of Renaissance handwriting. Includes a section with photographs of examples of the time. Ex library item - Dewey number in black on the spine, and a few stamps within - pastedown and front endpaper, small number on title page, and one stamp noted within. Grey cloth boards with gilt decoration on the front and lettering on spine. Some wear on the edges of the spine in parrticular, and some rubbing on the edges and corners, with bumping. Binding is a little slack but secure, though there is a bit of cracking between a couple of pages near the end. Despite being ex library, the internal pages with text are clean and in good order.
