Antiquarian volume on Botticelli from the Newnes\' Art Library. Undated, but probably c.1900-1910. Contain numerous black and white illustrations of Botticelli\'s works in all the major galleries of the time alongside a short biography by Richard Davey. 8 of the plates are tipped in and mounted.Hardback in a dust jacket under mylar covers. Jacket has some losses with a large tear and fold to the top front. It is never the less an unusual survivor. Foxed endpapers. Otherwise in very good condition for its age.
