The chain and magnet combination is a simple but effective method for routing cable. Simply screw the chain onto the end of your rod and place into the void you wish to route through. Next, take the Super Magnet and screw it onto the other rod. Finally, using your final access point (ie plug socket, floorboard etc) fish inside the void until the magnet comes into contact with the chain and draw the rod through.
