This Cornelissen rabbit skin glue comes in a granulated product for sizing canvas prior to priming. Natural animal hide glue is used in traditional canvas sizing but rabbit skin glue usually offers the highest strength, viscosity and elasticity. Used to seal and protect cotton and linen canvas before priming with oil based primers. Do not use under acrylic primer. Use one part rabbit skin glue granules to thirteen parts water. Leave to soak overnight, then heat gently until all the glue is disolved. Do not allow the liquid to boil. Apply one or two coats. Use while still warm.
