Global Artist Panel Unprimed are ultra-smooth natural wooden painting surface suitable for acrylic and oil paint. These wooden panels feature an 38mm deep edge and are suitable for use with dry media, encaustic and mixed media techniques. The natural surface can be painted onto directly or they can be primed. When using these panels un-primed with oil paint, please note that the oil may sink into the panel which has the advantage of quickening the drying time. To achieve wet-on-wet techniques it is advised to use more oil. Made in Italy.
