Use this Liquitex medium on its own or mix with colour to create a structurally stable crakle effect on rigid surfaces. What it does Creates a crackled texture as it dries on rigid surfaces Dries to a hard, opaque finish Maintains paint adhesion, durability and archival quality How to use Use on rigid supports only Can be used on its own and painted over once dry Can be mixed with acrylic color - using no more than 15% paint to 85% medium Apply paste evenly to surface with a palette knife Leave to dry for at least 24 hours before painting over Cracking will vary depending on how thickly you apply it - the effects will be more obvious on thicker applications but will take longer to dry When using on wood, seal with a base layer of fluid/gel medium and let dry before Crackle Paste application Fully compatible with all Liquitex products Don't dilute with water Don't force dry with a fan or heater as this may result in less or no cracking Don't try and slow the drying time by adding a slow drying medium as this will affect crackling effect
