There are five cooking zones, two of which form a larger bridging zone that can either be operated independently or as one large cooking area for griddles, fish kettles, wider pans or a number of pans together. Low temperature settings will hold the zones at a programmed temperature of your choice for two hours - after which, if left untouched, they will automatically switch off; ideal for melting butter or chocolate, keeping food warm or gentle simmering.
