Developed by an avid backcountry skier and inventor who worked alongside DuPont, Zardoz is not a wax but a 100% liquid fluoropolymer that can be easily applied to the base of your skis or snowboard. Simply squirt a few drops on to the fabric applicator then rub it onto your base for increased speed and better gliding in all conditions. There is no need to wait for it to dry and the entire process can be done in under a minute. Zardoz can be used on waxed, dry and even wet bases and is non-toxic, non-flammable, colour and odour-free. The puck sits comfortably in a pocket and will provide upwards of 15 applications, with each one giving a day or more of added performance. For the best results and maximum speed/slide, why not try the ‘Felix process\'. On a clean base before waxing, liberally apply Zardoz and leave to soak in a warm place overnight. The next day apply a coat of hot wax as usual and allow it to dry properly before scraping and buffing the surface. For warm snow conditions such as springtime apply a topcoat of Zardoz, but in cold conditions leave as it is. This method helps boost your normal waxing routine for faster speeds and better performance over a longer period. Top-up with a coat of Zardoz each day or as needed.
