This state of the art profiled wood core uses stronger and lighter woods targeted to specific areas of the core, providing pop, strength, and reduced weight. To fine-tune the core even further, the wood grain is positioned along the toe and heel edges in two continuous zones, perpendicular to the rest of the wood core. This gives the board a more consistent edge-hold and adds strength. In addition, the Squeezebox profiling features thick and thin sections along the length of the core allowing the designers to dial in the perfect flex.
