Haxnicks Fruit cages can be used to protect fruit and vegetables from birds and animals. They are ideal for young raspberries and blackcurrants; blueberries, gooseberries, redcurrants and cranberries. The tubular steel cages are easy to construct using the simple assembly instructions: The decorative frameworks can be quickly constructed using flexible, \'push-fit\' plastic joints to join the pre-cut steel lengths. The mesh covers, made from 15 mm bird netting, can be placed over the structure and then secured to the ground with U-shaped, galvanised steel pegs. All elements are conveniently supplied flat-packed in a box for easy transport and storage.
