12V 2A Auto battery charger/maintainer - This vehicle charger automatically performs the charging function in three stages. The first stage provides a maximum charging current to reenergise a depleted battery. The second stage will take the charge from approx. 70% to 90% capacity by holding a constant charging voltage while the current reduces. The final maintenance or conditioning stage will pulse low charging current to keep the battery in top condition over a long period. The charger can be left connected to the battery in order to perform this maintenance function.
