This simple to use plug and play extender allows you to control up to 4 AV source devices* via IR remote control over distances of up to 450m, without direct line of sight. Perfect for use with concealed AV installations and in combination with CAT5/Fibre AV extenders which do not offer IR extension. Using low cost CAT5/6/7 cabling the IR over CAT5 Extender Kit delivers full control of your AV equipment, overcoming CEC limitations or incompatibilities. It is perfect for use with non-CEC equipped HDMI AV products. The IR Receiver is small enough to be discreetly attached to a TV via its adhesive base, whilst the IR Emitter features an adhesive front, allowing it to be positioned directly over an IR port.
