The Magneto is the pinnacle of Ball Watch Company\'s research into giving their watches superior magnetic repellent functionality. For a watch to be classed as \"antimagnetic\", it must be able to withstand a magnetic force of 4,800A/m without its timekeeping accuracy being affected by more than 30 seconds a day. The Magneto S eclipses this by remaining fully functional and unaffected up to 80,000A/m.The watch achieves this with a revolutionary mumetal inner structure, protecting the movement from magnetic fields. This is an alloy of nickel, iron, copper and molybdenum. The inner structure has a unique diaphragm system, twisting the bezel to retract the magnetic shield to see the Chronometer specification Swiss Automatic movement, with date function through the exhibition case back.Surrounding the structure is a stainless steel case, with sapphire crystal, on a black cordura fabric strap. The dial is black, with highly visible baton markers and hands, all fitted with luminous gas markings, for unbeatable low light visibility.
