AIRTECH EVO GORE-TEX® is the TCX® Touring Line boot that affords superior watertightness combined with unique breathability. This level of performance is due to the boot s construction: in particular to the use of the GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort Footwear membrane which, combined with the CORDURA® upper, ensures total watertightness while affording greater breathability. In the 2016 collection, the AIRTECH EVO GORE-TEX® has been entirely restyled in its appearance and improved in its technical features. In terms of aesthetic styling, it has a new shape with a tapered design, which is wider in the metatarsal area and with a thinner toe. A microinjection system on the upper lends the boot a specific structural design, while enhancing its high-tech appearance. This design makes the AIRTECH EVO GORE-TEX® a versatile product, which can be worn with both high-tech tourism clothing and even urban attire. From a functional perspective, a series of construction details have been introduced to enhance the comfort level of the fit, including: a new inner padding featuring a memory system around the ankle, an anatomical and removable “shock absorber” footbed and a touring sole with specific grip areas. The height of the upper has been reduced compared to the previous version to accommodate the latest new trends in high-tech footwear for medium-range touring use. The highly advanced comfort of the model is completed with a padded front joint. The excellent breathability of the membrane/upper system is combined with a high level of protection. For increased foot safety, the boot incorporates shinbone protection with raised logo, reinforced toe and heel, gear change cushion made from microinjected material incorporated into the sole. The boot is CE Certified according to current EN 13634:2010 regulations.
