30 gauge Dark Green Florist Wire - Pack of 50 This pack of 50, Dark green florist wires are perfect for wiring into sugar and cold porcelain flowers and leaves, when creating sprays, floral arrangements, garlands etc. Also useful for any other crafts. These 30 gauge wires are suitable for heavier/larger flowers such as calla lilies, large roses etc.Paper covered wires, but when used in flower sprays they look better, and will enhance the finish of the flower, if they are covered with floral tape, after the flowers are dry. To use: Cut to required length with wire cutters. Make a hook, if required, on one end using tweezers (this will help secure and hold the wire in place when inserting into the flower). Apply edible glue to the hook and insert into flower. After inserting, leave to dry. Cover with floral tape for a more realistic finish. Do not insert wires directly into a cake, always use a flower pic/flower holder.  Note: 18g is the thickest wire graduating down to 30g which is the finest.
