Vivoplast was designed by Vivomed and manufactured a number of years ago using the parameters of the industry standard Elastoplast which had been widely used in hospitals, first aid and sport for decades. Elastoplast became Tensoplast by BSN and in recognition of the need to offer a deluxe affordable alternative Vivoplast was created. This style of elastic adhesive bandage would tend to be used in professional rugby and physiotherapy clinics where the physios have used them through their careers in hospital and have an appreciation of the quality of the cloth and an understanding of the balance between stickiness and roll peel.
