Jasmine has a rich, heady, floral aroma. It is calming and excellent for all skin types. It is also a well known aphrodisiac.Jasmine Absolute is calming and excellent for all skin types. It is also a good oil to use during childbirth. For convenience and to make it more easily affordable, it has been diluted at a ratio of 5% in Coconut oil, a wonderfully light moisturising oil. This means it can be used directly on the skin as a perfume. Jasmine Absolute is intensely floral, dark orange in colour and somewhat viscous. Very little is required to add its characteristic odour to any blend. It is a sensuous and luxurious addition to skincare. Method of Extraction:Jasmine is known as an absolute as it can only be extracted from the flowers using alcohol.Did you know:In India, Jasmine is referred to as \'Queen of the night\' due to it\'s scent being stronger after sunset. Directions: For a luxurious massage oil, blend 1 drop of Jasmine, 1 drop of Sandalwood and 3 drops of Mandarin in 10ml of Peach Kernel oil. As an alternative to perfume, blend 1 drop of Jasmine and 1 drop of Neroli in 20ml of Coconut oil and dab a small amount on the wrists. Caution:Jasmine is not recommended for use during pregnancy but is an excellent oil to use during childbirth.
