The shaft is beech. Canopy construction is 24”/60cm single metal rib. It has a scorched maple handle polished and finished to a resplendent depth including a silver collar laser engraved with a Simon Carter Union Jack device. The fabric is black Malaysian poly cotton which opens with a delightful crisp snap and is held closed by a pearl effect button and ringed elastic fastener making the umbrella a breeze to stow away again.
