The in-mould construction uses a thin shell ABS outer creating a helmet that is lightweight, impact-resistant, and durable. Salomon\'s EPS 4D liner is fused to the shell and gives increased protection over a standard EPS foam liner. It is shaped to work like a crumple zone on a car, maximising energy absorption and protecting from oblique and vertical shocks. Active ventilation can be fine-tuned depending on weather conditions by sliding the button on the top. Airflow Concept uses channels in the foam liner to provide an even temperature throughout the helmet and draws moist air away from the tops of goggles helping them to stay fog-free. For comfort, the liner is made from AdvancedSkin ActiveDry material which provides thermal regulation, is quick-drying and 100% washable. The Custom Dial is integrated into the liner and gives a precise and secure fit by simply twisting. MaxFit 3D ear pads provide instant comfort and better sound transmission while a clip at the back of the helmet keeps goggles securely in place.
