The Kazu Kokubo Pro snowboard from Capita is the switchblade of powder boards. While the common theme of great powder boards are usually a larger surface area and surfy feeling, the Kazu Kokubo Pro comes in a compact chassis with a wide nose for powder and a slight taper in the tail. This enables an extremely responsive feeling under-foot and has netted the Capita team back-to-back Transworld Good Wood Awards in the Quick and Maneuverable category.It features a super light, FSC certified wooden core with bamboo power rods to decrease weight while maintaining a high level of pop that is long-lasting and produced in a sustainable way. The tech doesn\'t stop there, it\'s loaded with more high-end components like a core ash woodgrain topsheet and a brand new high-speed sintered base to ensure that float is at a maximum and the board remains agile, responsive and torsionally stiff.The profile features minimal positive camber that lifts into rocker in the nose, further enhancing float in deep snow while giving a fun, \"broken in camber\" feeling upon your first ride. We loved this board when we tested it as it was absolute stack of fun to carve on-piste with, while also being stable, powerful and light underfoot in deeper snow.
