Burton suplement this with a directional flex profile in the board, making the tail stiffer for pop and drive while softening the nose slightly to allow for an increase in control when conditions aren\'t cooperating.The base is constructed from a recycled sintered material, making for an extremely fast and smooth ride with good wax retention, the density of the sintered base also makes for a more durable option than standard sintered bases.
